Planning an international mobility is much like building a house: you need a rock-solid foundation before you can even think about raising the walls.
To ensure our upcoming programs are impactful, safe, and perfectly tailored, we recently embarked on two essential Preparatory VisitsĀ to Tampere, FinlandĀ and Pasvalys, Lithuania.
š«š® The Nordic Start: Tampere, Finland
Our journey began in mid-January, specifically from the 11th to the 14th, in the vibrant city of Tampere.
Visiting Tammerkosken LukioĀ provided a unique opportunity for our School Principal and the Erasmus team to observe the inner workings of Finlandās world-renowned school system, famous for its efficiency and excellence. We were particularly impressed by our partner schoolās high-quality spaces dedicated to both students and teachers, which promote a balanced and productive learning environment.
Moreover, we finalised the educational flow for our upcoming Job ShadowingĀ and individual student mobilities. Meeting our Finnish partners face-to-face allowed us to synchronise our visions, ensuring that the two weeks our students will spend there are packed with inspiration and will allow them to immerse themselves in this

š±š¹ The Heart of the Baltics: Pasvalys, Lithuania
A month later, from February 16th to 19th, we headed to the serene landscapes of northern Lithuania. If Tampere was about Nordic efficiency, PasvalysĀ was about deep-rooted hospitality and community.
In Pasvalys, our mission was to coordinate with our recent partner Petras VileiŔis gymnasium to ensure a "home away from home" atmosphere. We walked the very streets where our students will live, visited the school where they will learn, and discussed every detail of the two-week program.
While the local culture was fascinating, the most valuable part of the trip was connecting with the families and educators who are the backbone of this initiative.
Why the "Extra Mile" Matters
By sitting across the table from our partners and sharing a coffee in the same roomārather than through a screenāwe eliminate uncertainties. Whether it's for a two-week individual student mobilityĀ or a specialized Job ShadowingĀ experience, these visits allow us to guarantee safety, comfort, and educational standards.
Stay tuned!
With the groundwork laid and every detail polished, we canāt wait to bring you the stories from our students and colleagues' journeys.
