We were delighted to host a group of Health, Social Care, and Child Care students from Kirkenes, Norway. This exchange was dedicated to sharing best practices, comparing internships, and building a network of European cooperation in the social care field.
1. Global exchange
The project began with a series of presentations in English. Both Italian and Norwegian students introduced their respective countries and school systems. This allowed everyone to highlight the unique differences between our vocational paths. To break the ice, students participated in a "Speed Dating" session, practicing their English while building immediate connections.
2. Health Care Focus
Our 4th Year students and their Norwegian peers focused on specialized activities centered on cooperative group work. The sessions explored the deep needs of fragile and vulnerable individuals, teaching the students how to provide care with both empathy and high-level professionalism. It was a powerful moment of professional growth, focusing on the human side of the healthcare sector.
3. Field Visits
The Child Care group took their learning outside the classroom. They visited the "Aquiloni" Kindergarten and the "Carducci" Primary School (part of ICS Don Ticozzi). The Norwegian group observed daily routines and educational practices. Seeing the world through the eyes of the children at "Don Ticozzi" was a beautiful reminder of the joy and innocence that define early childhood education.

Exploring Lecco: The Photographic Challenge
To wrap up the experience, the students headed out into the streets of our beautiful city. They participated in a competitive Photographic Scavenger Hunt through Lecco. This was a wonderful moment of teamwork and sharing, allowing our guests to discover our local landmarks while working together to complete the challenge.
